Foliyo collects no data.

Foliyo has no account, ads, analytics or trackers. Your notebooks, drawings, photos, scans and backups are stored only on your device; they are never sent to the developer, and the developer cannot access them.

1. Photos

   When you add a photo to a page or a cover, Foliyo copies only the photo you chose into the notebook. It never reads the rest of your library.

2. Camera

   Scanning a paper page, or adding one from the camera, uses the camera only while the scanner or camera is open. Pictures are kept in your notebook and nowhere else.

3. Face ID lock

   When you open a locked notebook, iOS checks your face or fingerprint. Foliyo never sees that information; it only learns whether the check passed.

4. Backups

   Automatic backups keep a copy of your notebooks on this same device. They are never sent anywhere. If your device's own iCloud Backup is on, Apple may back this data up to your iCloud account; that is between you and Apple.

5. Widget

   The Home Screen and Lock Screen widget shows only the prompt of the day; it doesn't read your notebooks.

6. Exports

   PNG, PDF and timelapse files are made on your device and go only where you send them from the share sheet.

7. Purchases

   Apple handles the Foliyo Pro subscription. Foliyo never sees your payment or account details; it only learns from the App Store whether Pro is on. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store settings.

8. Support and diagnostics

   If you email or message us, what you write and your email address are used only to reply to you. If you share a diagnostics report from Settings > Problems > Diagnostics, it contains the app version, device type, iOS version, memory readings, the names of the screens you opened and crash logs; no drawings, notebook titles or identity details. It is used only to fix the problem and deleted after one year.

   The legal bases are our legitimate interest in fixing problems and the performance of our agreement with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Email may be stored by providers outside your country. You may ask for access to, correction or erasure of this data, restrict or object to its use, or ask for a copy, by writing to the address below; you may also complain to your data protection authority.

9. Children

   Foliyo is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone.

10. Deleting

    Deleted notebooks and pages wait 30 days in Trash, then are removed for good. Deleting the app removes everything it saved on the device. To have your support emails deleted, just write to us.

11. Website

    getfoliyo.app uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages; GitHub may log visitors' IP addresses for security under its own privacy statement. The developer has no access to those logs.

12. Changes

    If this policy changes, the new version is shown once in the app and published on this page.
